About Me
Hi, World! I’m Sam, and I love to travel. That’s my hobby, passion, and something that drives me on. I’m a travel-addict that can’t wait even 5 minutes for a bus.
I’m Polish, and I was born in Warsaw, the 2-million-people capital city of Poland and its biggest city. I have lived there most of my life. My only other home-town is Solo (Surakarta) in Central Java, Indonesia. For now, I live in Warsaw again.
I graduated from the Oriental Studies faculty. My major was cross-cultural relations. It means I’m also an expert on Asian and African cultures. At the same time, I know that practical knowledge of cultures around the world is equally important.
My native language is Polish. I love learning foreign languages, so I know a few. Except for English, I can speak in Indonesian, Japanese, and limited Russian and Korean.
If you read older posts or comments, you can see I used nick “Kama”. I changed the nick when I decided to transition. I have started hormone therapy only in May 2017, so my personal experiences from the trips here are usually tied to people seeing a woman (unfortunately). That should change (hopefully) soon.
My Travels
The whole world is still waiting to get discovered I have already made a few steps in that direction. So far it’s mainly European countries and some Asian. Of course, I also travel across Poland from time to time. I have made My travels list for an overview.
I usually travel solo, but I don’t shy away from trips with friends. Most of the time I just go with my now-worn-out daypack. I guess you could call me a backpacker, but I don’t use that label.
Let’s discuss the joys and sorrows of travelling and learn from each other.
Hello Kama 🙂
I’m really glad I came across your blog 🙂
Powodzenia!
